Adding a forgotten run, or fixing a run's distance or date
Why Not has no way to type in a run, or to change a recorded run's distance or date. Every run comes from your phone, your watch or Apple Health, as it was recorded. The one exception is a treadmill run, whose distance you set yourself when you end it.
If you forgot to record a run, there is nothing to bring in. A run another app saved to Apple Health arrives like any other. For a day you ran without recording, open its workout and tap Mark as done: the day counts, with no miles added.
To open an older run, find it in Activities, which lists your runs back to the date at the end of its list, or tap its row in the bell. A run with a wrong distance can be deleted there: open it and tap Delete this run.
If a run counted for the wrong day, change it on the run's Read, which opens after the run arrives and from Today's read on Home the same day. A run from an earlier day keeps the day it counted for.
