Your HYROX finish, split.
One goal finish, one division. This is the race board the Why Not app seats the day it builds your Hybrid Race plan: eight run legs, eight station targets and the Roxzone, adding up to your goal.
A HYROX finish time is sixteen pieces and the floor between them. Pick a goal and the board below splits it: how fast each 1 km leg needs to be, how long each station can take at your division’s loads, and how much of the clock the Roxzone transitions take. The app uses the same split to set the pace of every 1 km repeat and brick leg, and to measure your station times against.
Nothing here is a promise. The station times are estimates from published results, and the app labels them the same way until your own sessions replace them.
The eight run legs
The legs fade on purpose: each one two seconds slower than the one before, the last 14 seconds slower than the first. The app trains them at one pace, the faster of your goal’s leg pace and the pace your own running already holds.
The eight stations
| Station | Dose | Your load | Target |

Honest label. The station and Roxzone times are estimates: published averages of athletes around each finish, scaled so the parts add up to your goal, with the first minute held out for the start corral and the finish line. Men's and women's read the same table for now. The loads are the season 26/27 rulebook's. In the app, every brick, simulation and race time you log replaces a target with your own best. Nothing here is a promise.

The app builds the plan that trains to this board, then fills the board in from your sessions. Leave an email and get one message when Why Not is live. Nothing else, ever.
How the board is built.
Six published finish bands, from two hours down to one, each with a typical time at every station and a typical run leg. Your goal lands between two of them and the board reads the split in between. One scale factor keeps every station’s share of the race the same as the published shape, so a faster goal does not take all its time from one station. A goal between two bands adds up to it within a few seconds of rounding; one slower than two hours reads the two hour band, as the app does for a first finish.
The run legs come from the same board. In the app your 1 km repeats and your brick legs run at one pace, the faster of your goal’s leg pace and the pace your own running already holds: the plan never asks you to run slower than you already can.
Want the leg in mile pace, or the eight legs added up from your own 1 km time: the HYROX pace converter does both.
What it does not do
It does not predict your finish. It shows what a finish you choose is made of. The app’s projected finish is a different number: your real times where you have them, the targets everywhere else.
Every number on this page is computed from the Why Not app’s own race board (constants/hybridRace/bands.ts and loads.ts, ported line for line and held to the app by a test). The bands are provisional: published averages, labelled as such in the app, until measured results replace them. Loads from the HYROX Singles, Doubles and Relay rulebooks, season 26/27.
